The guarantee does not apply to:
- Repair or remedial work
- Jobs where materials are supplied by the customer
- Damage caused by misuse, neglect, or third-party alterations after completion

AJW Carpentry is run by Alex Williams. Alex spent three years with an established East Devon carpentry firm before going self-employed to set up AJW, bringing the same high standards under his own name.
For larger jobs, Alex works with a small network of trusted subcontractors he's chosen himself. That means one point of contact, one set of standards, and one person who's accountable when the work is done.
The specialism is timber doors of every kind: front, internal, bi-fold, sliding and wardrobe. Alongside that, AJW handles the general carpentry that makes a home feel finished, skirting, architrave, fitted wardrobes, loft boarding and timber garden buildings.

How quickly can you start the work?+
Once you accept the quote, work is typically booked in within a month, depending on the size of the job and current schedule.
Can I supply my own doors and materials?+
Yes, AJW offers both supply-and-fit and fit-only. Note that the 5-year workmanship guarantee applies only to full installations where AJW supplies all materials.
What areas do you cover?+
Sidmouth, Exeter, Exmouth, Budleigh Salterton, Seaton, Honiton, Newton Poppleford, Woodbury and Ottery St Mary. If you're just outside these areas, still get in touch.
How do I pay?+
Bank transfer or cash. There is no card machine on site and no deposit structure is currently in place, pricing is agreed up front, fixed price or day rate, your choice.
